Point Loma Seafoods is common in San Diego for its fresh seafood and smoked fish. Part-lunch area, part-seafood market, Point Loma purchases fish straight from local angler and either offer it by the pound or prepares it is rewarding, however basic methods.

History

In time, along with their kids Jack and John, Kelly and Marie gradually constructed Point Loma Seafood’s’ credibility as more than merely a fresh fish market. Quickly they started smoking cigarettes and processing both sport-caught fish and fish for retail sales.

Sushi and Sashimi – The PLSF Way

Because we currently serve the best fish offered in San Diego, we chose to provide a Sushi Deli a shot. With input from the owners of Point Loma Seafood’s, this sushi chef was informed to “go for it”!

Point Loma seafood picks to utilize real Snow Crab meat instead of the replica Krab ™ meat used in practically every other Sushi bar in town. Served on 18-inch or 16-inch trays, they taste terrific and present well to your visitors.

Processing

Like in the early years of Point Loma Seafood’s, our smoked fish is still smoked with genuine hickory wood. The racks of fish were rolled in and smoked over 8-12 hours. Our dish for smoking cigarettes fish was born, which plate forms the foundation of our smoked fish’s success.

Point Loma Seafood’s deals are filleting and smoking cigarettes of your sport-caught fish. Your fish will be dealt with as if it were our own – we keep your catch as cold as possible to maintain its freshness.
